JUNO meet up – Exchanging strategies with fellow researchers

You are looking for other postdocs, research group leaders and junior professors on campus in order to exchange strategies and discuss experiences of your every day research environment?
Join the JUNO meet up! - Experienced postdocs and research group leaders will share what has enabled them to overcome everyday challenges in their (academic) careers.

The next JUNO meet up is focusing on:

Setting up and managing research teams

Jun.Prof. Dr. Ilka Axmann (Institute of Synthetic Microbiology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences), Jun.Prof. Dr. Mathias Beller (Institute for Mathematical Modeling of Biological Systems / Systems Biology of Lipid Metabolism, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences) and Dr. Jan-Markus Kötter (Department of Historical Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Humanities) have experiences to share in leading teams and collaborating in research networks. They will talk about their first attempts to set up their research groups, recruiting researchers and technicians and how rewarding leadership is but also which struggels come with it. Everybody is welcome to ask questions and get into conversation with the speakers.

Moreover, stay for an informal get together and have some food and drinks while talking to your fellow peers and expanding your network.
