Workshop description

Teams are active wherever different experiences and skills are needed. In reality, however, the effectiveness of teams often varies dramatically due to differing opinions and values among the members. Individual needs such as the desire for power, recognition, influence, self-expression, or an overwhelming need for harmony make teamwork a challenge. For this reason, the workshop focusses on the management of team processes, with the aim of achieving a high level of performance and successful cooperation within a team. Successful process management can be achieved by implementing instruments for communication and cooperation and by creating feedback processes within the team. Both the various stages of team development and methods for dealing with heterogeneous teams are thus taken into consideration.
