The “Düsseldorfer Weg” program supports research employees at HHU in consciously shaping their academic careers. The certificate programme helps participants reflect on their career goals, explore academic career fields and develop relevant skills for their further academic journey.

The two-stage programme focuses on professional development and networking at HHU. The Orientation Phase supports participants in reflecting on their career goals and getting to know the three academic career fields Researcher, Lecturer and Scientific Manager. In the Specialisation Phase, the required skills can be further developed and individual academic career paths can be advanced.
