Juniorprofessoren und Nachwuchsgruppenleiter Netzwerk der HHU (jungle_net)
Im Juli 2009 wurde das "JUniorprofessoren- und NachwuchsGruppenLEiter-NETzwerk" (jungle_net) an der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf gegründet.
Es besteht aus Juniorprofessoren und Nachwuchsgruppenleiter/innen der Heinrich-Heine-Universität, die unabhängig eine Nachwuchsforschergruppe leiten, Budgetverantwortung haben und Doktoranden betreuen und prüfen können, die aber noch keine feste Stelle haben.
jungle_net möchte allen Nachwuchsgruppenleiter/innen als Plattform dienen, mit dem Ziel:
- Erfahrungen in der Leitung wissenschaftlicher Arbeitsgruppen über Disziplingrenzen hinweg in offener Atmosphäre auszutauschen,
- die Sichtbarkeit des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses an der HHU (und damit auch die Attraktivität für die Ansiedlung neuer Nachwuchsgruppen) zu erhöhen,
- Ansprechpartner für Nachwuchsforschende zu sein, die neu an der HHU sind oder zukünftig eine Nachwuchsgruppenleitung anstreben.

Role model, Teacher, Watchdog?
– Good Research Practice in the Context of Supervision

But what if I am not only responsible for my own actions, but also for those of others? What co-responsibility do I have as a supervisor? How can I ensure that all my staff and team members are aware of their own responsibilities?
Good Research Practice involves much more than documentation, avoiding plagiarism and collecting data with integrity. Different issues, questions and uncertainties may arise at different career levels and in different disciplinary cultures. The importance of Good Research Practice in the context of supervision will be highlighted in a short impulse talk. This will be followed by an opportunity to share and discuss different aspects of Good Research Practice.
